Ten Cent Beer Night

On June 4th, 1974, a baseball game between the Cleveland Indians and the Texas Rangers essentially proved that humankind has some pretty sad flaws in a rather hilarious way. The Major League Baseball’s Cleveland Indians, attempting to draw in as many fans as possible, thought it would be a great idea to hold a promotion

Huckabee-Santorum

The Evangelical Candidates Have Short Lifespans

The evangelical candidates are like cicadas in a sense. They’re super annoying and scream loudly for an election cycle, and then they die off really fast. Huckabee no longer matters, Santorum is more irrelevant now than he’s ever been, and Cruz is following suit after only lasting in this race long enough because of Donald Trump. In either 2020 or 2024, Ted Cruz will run again. He’ll run for president again, thinking he has a chance at victory just like Huckabee and Santorum think they themselves do. And guess what — just like Huckabee and Santorum before him, Ted Cruz will NEVER do as well as he did his first time around. The evangelical vote has a weird thing about failures when it comes to their candidates, and they’ll turn to someone new before ever dawning the Cruz Crew button on their Sunday’s Best.

2016 Is Destroying Historical Precedent

For those of you that haven’t been following my Twitter account, I’ve been pretty intrigued with calculating possible scenarios and victories for the presidential primaries. I spent a couple weeks spamming predictions and results, but in order to stop a political overflow on my site (I went about a solid month without posting any history, psychology, or sociology because of it), I started doing independent research and county-by-county predictions with a group of friends of mine.

Super Tuesday Results

Super Tuesday is mostly composed of conservative-based states. Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia all have a Republican foundation, even on the moderate Democratic side. They also outweigh the benefits given off by more liberal and progressive states, such as Colorado, Minnesota, and especially Vermont. Let me say this right now: Donald Trump will be the Republican nominee. But…despite popular claims, we could see changes in the Democratic primaries if things go the right way for Bernie Sanders.

The Criminal Cruz Crew

Rick Perry, the former Governor of Texas who has been running from indictment charges since August 2014, recently endorsed Ted Cruz. Perry has run for the Presidency himself twice, failing in ways that could get him crowned the King of Stupid. Perry claims that he really only has the choice of Cruz and Trump, according to an interview with Politico. So, in short, he’s really only endorsing Cruz because he seems him as “more conservative”. Perry’s endorsement “blesses” Cruz’s already sinking campaign with the longest serving Texan Governor’s support. But lots of people are forgetting something crucially important: Rick Perry, an unfathomably mentally challenged politician, is a criminal.
