When asked for evidence for either argument on the topic of another world, we (to a certain extent) must admit to ourselves that there is none. We, on both sides of this rather controversial argument, attach ourselves to 3,000-year-old literature or modern-day scientific theories in attempt to prove that our existence means something…anything. It’s embarrassing to see just how narrow the Republican establishment is making this convention. To narrowly “pray” for officer deaths and not bring up the mass shootings and diverse racial problems in America is already narrow-minded. To narrow down the nation through religious guidance, you’ve labeled your party as “The Party of The Religious”. That’s not how you make America “Great Again”. That’s how you further divide up the people of your nation. You’ve established yourself as nearing theocracy; from Ted Cruz and Mike Huckabee to the inclusion of religion in a political party resorting in so-called secular nation.
Let me wake up the criminal Cruz Crew. We’re talking about a religious, evangelical zealot that puts Mike Huckabee to God’s shame. Ted Cruz is ignorant, a literal unconstitutional conservative hiding behind the constitution itself, a document he’s probably read as many times as he’s read his hypocritical Holy book: zero times. He’s been playing with the minds of voters like a psychopathic freak since day one of his campaign, falsely comparing himself to Ronald Reagan (who wouldn’t be able to classify himself as a Republican in this modern day, strained Five Ring Republican Circus) and repeatedly calling voters that were openly for other candidates to “inform” them that their candidate was dropping out and that they should vote for, you guessed it, Ted Cruz.
The movie “God is Not Dead” is about a stereotypical do-nothing-wrong, goodie-two-shoes Christian student who is forced by an equally stereotypical cold-hearted and mean-spirited atheist to admit that “God is Dead” in a philosophy class. I’ve watched this movie twice — once because I had nothing better to do (Netflix is a wonderful time waster) and once more to actually make sure the morals and meanings of the story were what they presented themselves to be throughout my first experience.
