The AR-15: It’s Time For Gun Reform

The AR-15 is a rifle that is primarily used in a military setting that has trickled it’s way down into civilian usage. Known to the military as the M16 and referee exclusively as an AR-15 in civilian models, the gun — a weapon of mass murder — is located center field in several mass shootings and homicide. The AR-15 is lightweight, gas-operated, magazine-fed, and air-cooled. Quick to move with and easy to take apart, sophisticatedly controlled, and capable of churning out magazine after magazine of bullets, the weapon is something you’d expect to find primarily on the battlefield.
