How Did Progressive Reforms Affect the Power of Party Bosses?

The main objective of the Progressive movement was to eliminate the corruption seen throughout the American government. Targeting political machines and their corporate bosses, the Progressives believed that by taking down corrupt representatives, America could finally establish a direct democracy. Another main goal of the Progressive movement was to regulate monopolies and bust up the trusts

Clinton Kaine

My (Negative) Thoughts on Tim Kaine

I dislike Tim Kaine. In fact, I despise Tim Kaine. If I had to put all of the contenders of Clinton’s VP shortlist in a list of my own, I would have put Tim Kaine in last place by a mile. He, despite what the media is trying to beat into the news, is NOT a progressive. He’s far from it. He just recently changed his course on the TPP, has been campaigning for bank deregulation, and is yet another thing wrong with Clinton’s campaign.

Hillary Clinton: STOP GOING RIGHT

If Trump stays “to the left” of Clinton on foreign policy and trade – even if he’s lying through his fucking teeth about his platform (which he is) – he will win the election. Many Democrats have a God Complex going on right now. They think Clinton against Trump will be a cakewalk. As multiple polls have shown, it’s going to be a back and forth. Hillary Clinton, don’t be link your logo: don’t go to the right.

Hillary and Bernie

Bernie Sanders Endorses Hillary Clinton

It’s done. It’s over. Bernie Sanders has announced his endorsement for Hillary Clinton; and with that, the Democratic primaries are officially at an end. I watched live as Bernie Sanders unofficially announced his campaign last April, I paid for a shirt in the first shipment sent from his Vermont headquarters, and I watched him completely demolish Hillary Clinton in each debate online. I’ve Felt the Bern for many reasons since the very beginning. But now? #ImWithHer.

The Kaminski Code: Episode 3 – Politics of 2016

Episode 3 of The Kaminski Code is all about the election of 2016. From the rise of Donald Trump to the progressive struggle of New Deal Democrats, join Joseph Kaminski, Michael Andoscia, and Elliot Declet in discussing the political adventure that has led us through the past year and a half.

Thank You Bernie

Thank You, Bernie

Consider this an open letter to anyone who may be reading this. Whether you be a progressive, a centrist, or a radical…I direct this towards not only Bernie Sanders, but towards any active political member of American democracy. Keep this message in mind as we exist the last stages of the primary season and head full speed into the most unfavorable general election in history.
