The Problem With Being Remembered

At birth, there is an introduction. A heavenly beacon of light to start it all. The world opens, and we begin to live. It all seems so wonderful, magical, and sensible. The first few chapters are great, and we all cling onto our chairs as we witness the stages of life develop right before our very eyes. In the middle, we learn. We turn into madmen – cynical to life’s wonders. I call this character development. At death, the story ends. Some end abruptly, others with a bang that allow them to stand out against countless other stories.

No, The Earth Isn't Flat. Idiots.

When I first heard people were discussing this topic on social media, I thought it was a hoax. I thought it was one of those sarcastic troll hashtags that were being used sarcastically. Then the truth hit me. People are this stupid. People are this incoherently unattached to the world of science and history. People are so dense, so ignorant, so pathetically unintelligent, that they believe that the Earth is flat.

Does the World Need a World Policeman?

If you attempt to argue that America lost this “war”, you would have little to no evidence. While it is true the Soviets in Russia during this time were the first to send a man into space, America was the first to step on the moon, planting the flag and showing superiority to Russia. Eventually, the Cold War fizzled down and America still held tightly onto its position in the world. Twelve presidents later, and America still grips tightly onto the fact that they are the world cop. But should they? Understand the fact that America, in recent times, cannot even keep their own government open.

Religion’s God Complex

A person with the undiagnosable disorder of god complex refuses to admit the possibility of any error or failure, even in the face of irrefutable evidence. Highly dogmatic in their views, the one suffering with god complex will speak of their personal opinions, regardless of proof or foundation, as if they were universal law. In short, the person could never possibly be wrong in their own eyes. They show no regard for the basic demands of society in any way, requesting special consideration and considering themselves a part of some illegitimate privilege. They, in some way, believe that they are, in short, divine in their intellectual standpoints.
