John McCain deserves severe criticism more than he deserves sympathy or admiration. Yesterday, John McCain, despite his announced diagnosis of brain cancer and resulting hospitalization, returned from his home state of Arizona to cast his vote in the U.S. Senate to go forward with the legislative process of repealing Obamacare. Or, as CNN’s Stephen Collinson wrote
The Broletariat Podcast is a completely unscripted and unedited (and possibly incoherent) podcast consisting of Joseph Kaminski, Elijah Hintz, and Omar Wajeeh. We are not communists; the logo is supposed to be clever and ironic – which it is! In reality, Joe and Elijah are progressive Democrats and Omar is more of a leftist centrist…hated by
If you would have told me this time last year that Texas Senator Ted Cruz and Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders were going to debate over the topic of Obamacare, I would have leaped for joy. I was a very strong supporter for Bernie Sanders and a very strong mocker of Ted Cruz during the 2016
Let me explain Hillary’s Health in a historical sense. The concept of attacking a presidential candidate over their physical (or in Trump’s case, mental) health isn’t something new. However, if you take a look at American history, it hasn’t been quite uncommon for presidents and vice presidents to make their way to the White House with incredible ailments you wouldn’t believe of.
There is absolutely no logical reason to believe for a moment that Hillary Clinton will be indicted for her damn emails. This notion is starting to develop into Benghazi 2.0, something anti-Hillary bots will be chanting about for decades. If Clinton wins the election, we’ll be hearing conservatives along with Bernie Bros will be calling for her arrest three years into her first term.
The 2016 Democratic Party Platform’s latest initial draft has been announced, and you can read it and download it here. I encourage everyone to read the thirty nine page draft. We may be entering a Second Gilded Age; but that will be determined by what ideology wins over the core of the Democratic Party and who wins the White House this November.
This article was written by Blog Liberally. You should follow him on Twitter @BlogLiberally. First let me be upfront, a lot of folks call me a “liberal”, and you know what? I’m cool with that. Because to me being a liberal means rooting for People over Corporations. And that I do, EVERY TIME! ALL! THE! TIME! And in that subset of people I root for reside the poor, the working poor and the middle class. I root for those guys over those in that rarefied air the one-per-centers breath and even the ten-per-centers sit comfortably in. So yea, I’m what most would define as a Liberal, I accept it, proudly.
So, with that in mind, Hillary Clinton’s VP nominee might be what completely dominates the election in November…or it may be what allows even more progressives and independents to swing towards either vote for Trump or not vote at all. Many Clinton supporters can’t believe this fact, but a Vice Presidential failure on the Clinton ticket could very well effectively kill her momentum: a tragic end to the establishment success story in this election season. So, lets break down some of the names she’s been floating around as her possible Vice President. Here are Hillary Clinton’s possible Vice Presidents.
Let me wake up the criminal Cruz Crew. We’re talking about a religious, evangelical zealot that puts Mike Huckabee to God’s shame. Ted Cruz is ignorant, a literal unconstitutional conservative hiding behind the constitution itself, a document he’s probably read as many times as he’s read his hypocritical Holy book: zero times. He’s been playing with the minds of voters like a psychopathic freak since day one of his campaign, falsely comparing himself to Ronald Reagan (who wouldn’t be able to classify himself as a Republican in this modern day, strained Five Ring Republican Circus) and repeatedly calling voters that were openly for other candidates to “inform” them that their candidate was dropping out and that they should vote for, you guessed it, Ted Cruz.
I’m a fan of studying Nixon, and I’ve studied him and his administration for years now. I’ve read all of his books, from Six Crises to The Real War to Beyond Peace to Seize the Moment to his own personal memoirs. I’ve read most of war criminal Henry Kissinger’s books. I’ve watched and read the Frost/Nixon interviews. You name the speech, if there’s a video recording of it online I’ve seen it twice. From celebrating his 103rd birthday to having an in-depth analysis of his debate against John F. Kennedy in 1960, I’ve done it.
