The Democratic Party elites and corporatist shills have spent the last few months preaching “unity” and “moving forward” while hypocritically bashing the progressive wing that has proven itself to be necessary in order to win actual elections. Let me be frank: the Democratic Party, the political affiliation I have found myself to be apart of in the
If you, like Donald Trump, haven’t read the United States Constitution: now’s your chance to do so for free. Although you can get digital copies for free online thanks to the freedom of information, the ACLU is generously offering everyone a free copy of the pocket edition for the United States Constitution (usually five dollars) from now until Election Day.
I dislike Tim Kaine. In fact, I despise Tim Kaine. If I had to put all of the contenders of Clinton’s VP shortlist in a list of my own, I would have put Tim Kaine in last place by a mile. He, despite what the media is trying to beat into the news, is NOT a progressive. He’s far from it. He just recently changed his course on the TPP, has been campaigning for bank deregulation, and is yet another thing wrong with Clinton’s campaign.
If Trump stays “to the left” of Clinton on foreign policy and trade – even if he’s lying through his fucking teeth about his platform (which he is) – he will win the election. Many Democrats have a God Complex going on right now. They think Clinton against Trump will be a cakewalk. As multiple polls have shown, it’s going to be a back and forth. Hillary Clinton, don’t be link your logo: don’t go to the right.
It’s done. It’s over. Bernie Sanders has announced his endorsement for Hillary Clinton; and with that, the Democratic primaries are officially at an end. I watched live as Bernie Sanders unofficially announced his campaign last April, I paid for a shirt in the first shipment sent from his Vermont headquarters, and I watched him completely demolish Hillary Clinton in each debate online. I’ve Felt the Bern for many reasons since the very beginning. But now? #ImWithHer.
There is absolutely no logical reason to believe for a moment that Hillary Clinton will be indicted for her damn emails. This notion is starting to develop into Benghazi 2.0, something anti-Hillary bots will be chanting about for decades. If Clinton wins the election, we’ll be hearing conservatives along with Bernie Bros will be calling for her arrest three years into her first term.
Basically every candidate in this election cycle has found themselves involved within the Latino community. In some states, such as California and Texas, Latinos make up over 28% of the popular vote. A record 27.3 million Latinos will be eligible to vote in the 2016 presidential elections, making it a pressing political concern to make positive relations with the Hispanic communities across America. That comes to the topic of the day: hispandering in the 2016 election cycle.
So, with that in mind, Hillary Clinton’s VP nominee might be what completely dominates the election in November…or it may be what allows even more progressives and independents to swing towards either vote for Trump or not vote at all. Many Clinton supporters can’t believe this fact, but a Vice Presidential failure on the Clinton ticket could very well effectively kill her momentum: a tragic end to the establishment success story in this election season. So, lets break down some of the names she’s been floating around as her possible Vice President. Here are Hillary Clinton’s possible Vice Presidents.
Let me say it loud and clear: Hillary Clinton is his election’s Woodrow Wilson at this moment. A candidate who personally is not as progressive as you would like to think, but would literally listen to a progressive movement in order to keep her party happy. But, if Bernie Sanders were to either run as an Independent (which he won’t), be written in by his #BernieOrBust fans, or let his voters refuse to vote for a Clinton campaign — the election would be swapped. Clinton would no longer be the victorious Wilson, she would be left in the dust with a low turn out rate or split vote as the 2016 equivalent to William Howard Taft.
Bernie Sanders just won the Clark County Convention at the Cashman Center. Guess what lives in Clark County? Around 75% of Nevada’s registered Democrats. Oh, and the reaction of some Hillary supporters at the Clark County Convention? Despicably childish.
